Similar to other seafood, Chilean sea bass is delicate and should be cooked properly. The key tips are fish preparation and perfect timing. Otherwise, it may get overcooked, which you do not want for this pricey fillet.

A giant fillet that I actually cut into two servings was $18. I bought a singular, smaller, fishier tasting piece of Chilean sea bass from Whole Foods for the same price. Just FYI for all you Chicagoans out there. Go to Isaacson's.
