...have a look around and take a few snapshots with a disposable camera of the pitiful remains of what was just one of several villages lying before the cliffs that separate the west bank of Thebes from the Valley of the Kings (Wadi Muluk)…... In retrospective the whole experience of walking up the hill just to take some pictures, not to see one of the amazing Tombs of the Nobles seems absurd, this is a visit to a ghost town, to document what is, instead of to experience...
