(We used to laugh at the visual of a little 5 year old in short pants, tossing his British accent amidst the swarms of rabid New Yorkers.) We stayed close in school, taking the same .... Staring helplessly at a map, certain that Denmark St was practically within reach, I asked a nice man which way was North. That was all the help I needed to orient myself.... How do they keep London so clean?) The first stop on our tour was the British Museum, to see the King's Gallery.

We are stopping London for two days to visit the British Museum and the Tate Modern. We have not been to the British Museum in 30 years. No website would be better than their website. It seems the Magna Carta has... Cloisters right now, so you don't have to travel far to see them. :-) We didn't have a lot of time for the museum when we were in London, so we rented the Highlights audioguide, got a map, and were able to see most of what we wanted to see.
