I made it all the way to the top of Kala Patthar which stands at 5500 meters above sea level and offers incredible views of Mt Everest. The trek was very hard but I made some fantastic friends along the way which made it all the easier, I enjoyed it so much that I think I will attempt Mt Kilimanjaro next year (watch this space).
