As it turned out the van had many pluses as well as a sunroof which made photography and ventilation a plus on the dusty tracks and trails through the grassy plains and dusty parks of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Now, I am not... We eventually made it to Ngorongoro Crater by about 2100 hrs. that evening where we had booked a one nite stay at the Rhino Lodge. We arrived... Suffice to say we got a room at Grey Oaks Hotel in a southern suburb of Nairobi.
