From Albany, you can either take Interstate 90 across NY and check out Niagara Falls (north of Buffalo) or you could take Interstates 88 and 86 (similar to Interstate 80 across PA) but crosses Lake Chatauqua in the west. .... I was thinking then driving on into NY state (as mapquest is suggesting)and keep to the top of the state, skirting Lake Erie, Buffalo and MAYBE Niagra Falls (not bother with PA route).....now my questions are- do you think it would be realistic to leave...
