After our visit to Herculaneum, we were taken to a restaurant in the township of Pompeii, over looking the city walls of the old town, for a basic of lunch & then hooked up with a guide to show us Pompeii:... signs of graffiti from 2000+ years ago; on the ground, there is the occasional phallic symbol in the roadways, pointing towards brothels, there was the stepping stones across the roads as the roads would flood due to them not being able to build sewage system, etc.
