...and sluggish and with little visible traffic – but the quays on either side that are alive with joggers and cyclists, as well as flâneurs such as myself who are on the lookout for cracks and dents in the smooth Paris cityscape.

The Paris Marathon. I arrived 30 seconds too late (9:02:23) to get a photo of the first runners who by the way were all black - this was the last one of the group. Sorry about the blur but I was moving and so was he (a little faster, though)!... The blur is perfect for showing us speed. I love this whole series for the very colorful clothes of the runners against the grey sky and cityscape. I Flickr 4 JOY (10 hours ago | reply). So many runners! So many fit people! :) It is wonderful...
