The Sistine Chapel. April 12, 2012. Here's a little update from our trip. On Tuesday we visited the Vatican Museum. I didn't really understand what it was. I thought we were just getting to see the Sistine Chapel, but instead, it's a huge art museum with the Sistine .... i've never been, but my husband has and he said the same thing about his reaction to that matisse painting. weird! .... When I was there, I couldn't get over the fact that even the *ceilings* are covered in beautiful artwork.
