alhambra palace court of the lions

Islamic architecture at the Alhambra... Arch through to the Patio de los Leones (Court of the Lions)... I was disappointed by this as the Court of the Lions is meant to be the jewel in the crown of the entire palace complex.

The Alaczaba is the oldest surviving section of the Alhambra, erected by Ziridian rulers in the 11th century and completed by the first Nasrid ruler Muhammad I Al-Ahmar who installed his court there in 1238.
