Much smaller than the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon is actually harder to climb as the steps are much higher. Sorry about the quality of the photo... Just my luck that the digital camera decided not to work!

... Ciudadela—so named by the Spanish when they came upon the ruins. The Citadel was built during Teotihuacán's second phase (150-250 CE), roughly a century after construction of the Pyramids of the Moon and Sun.

But there is something awe-inspiring about these 2 huge pyramids at Teotihuacan. This is a view of the larger pyramid, the Pyramid of the Sun, sketched from the littler one, the Pyramid of the Moon. I didn't climb the taller one.
